Biddy Friel's:  Where Ireland Meets Nashville.

Biddy Friel's is a small pub tucked away in the beautiful Donegal countryside.  Originally founded over a hundred years ago, it has become a household name within the local community.  

 

Unfortunately Biddys was closed for several years.  I watched how the sense of community spirit was affected by the loss of our local pub.  Myself, my family, friends and neighbours had so many good memories tied to this place.  I knew something had to be done.  I dreamt of re-opening Biddy's and using it to bring our local community together once more.  

 

In November 2017, I finally made this dream a reality and got to see Biddys open it's doors once more.  I had a clear vision in my head when I started out on this journey. 

I wanted Biddys to reflect my passions.  Most importantly, I wanted to celebrate the pub's traditional Irish roots.  The Ireland of days gone by is at the heart of Biddy Friel's.  Im also a huge fan of American Country music and I wanted to bring some of that Nashville soul to the Donegal Countryside.

Since our grand re-opening, we have gone from strength to strength.  There's always something happening at Biddys!  We have amazing live Country music and dancing every weekend.  Every night is different but they're always guaranteed to be great craic!  We also have a cosy bar that's perfect for a few drinks with friends.  If you're feeling hungry, why not call into the restaurant?  Our new menu has all the family favourites as well as authentic all-American steaks and burgers.  If you're looking for good food served with a smile, look no further!  

 

Whether you come to Biddys for a night of live music, a hearty meal, or even a quiet pint, we'll do everything we can to make sure you feel welcome.
